Week 8 – Moving House & Working Out – By Emma

I’ve always found change very difficult to deal with as it means you have to get into a whole new routine and get used to a different environment.

Before the challenge something like moving to a new house would mean I’d fall off the exercise band wagon and I’d give up and my progress would be lost. As I have such a good weekly routine, with the exercise and habits on the app to keep me accountable, this week I kept going. Being part of the 12 Week Challenge has given me the confidence and accountability to make any changes workable.

I’m still getting used to my new exercise environment being in now a small flat but I’ve still managed to get my workouts done. Despite the stress of moving and the tiredness I had Chris and Nicole encouraging me throughout the week which kept me strong. This community of a coach and other 12 Week Challengers makes the low days accountable and helps me celebrate the successes.

By keeping my routine of checking the app and logging my habits and exercise despite being very busy my exercise and nutrition were still very much a priority. I managed to juggle stress, tiredness, business and the 12-week challenge with ease.

It shows after 9 weeks how much your mindset and attitude can change. I’m now living close to a gym and counting down the days till it opens again. If you told me a year ago, I’d be doing that I’d have laughed in your face!

It’s amazing how motivational exercise, good nutrition and progress is. Bring on the last 3 weeks!

My success continues and I am looking forward to what I can achieve in 3 weeks and beyond the first 12 weeks. This is a marathon not a race and each step of the way brings new challenges that I know I can face.
